YOUNG TRIBOLOGIST BEST PAPER AWARD - closed
Who Can Apply?
Young scientists and engineers, who is less than 36 years of age in the year of the conference.
Terms and Conditions
1. Applicants must be the main author (usually first author) of the full paper.
2. Applicants must submit their full paper to Jurnal Tribologi by 30 June 2018 31 July 2018.
3. Applicants must register as ASIATRIB2018 participant.
4. Applicants must present his/her research work at the ASIATRIB2018.
5. The results will be announced by email after the conference.
6. Prize are not changeable.
7. Conference committees are not eligible to apply for this award.
Prize
Five awardees will be selected based on the quality of his/her paper. Award certificate, MYTRIBOS life membership and cash money per awardee are given to eligible Young Tribologists.
Application Deadline
The application period is between 1 April 2018 to 30 June 2018 31 July 2018.
How to Apply?
Please fill up the application form and submit together with your full paper to Jurnal Tribologi through the online submission system at http://www.editorialsystem.com/jtrib. When submitting please choose the manuscript type ‘Special issue paper - ASIATRIB2018’. The application form can be uploaded as a 'supplementary file' in the online submission system.

BEST POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD
In deciding about the awards, the judging panel will take into consideration the following criteria:
1. Originality of the research.
2. Scientific quality (literature acknowledgement, methodology, results and discussion).
3. Presentation quality of the poster (visual and author’s presentation).
Prize
Six awardees will be selected based on the above criteria. Award certificate and MYTRIBOS life membership per awardee are given to eligible winners. The award will be announced during ASIATRIB2018 banquet dinner.

TRAVEL GRANT (IFToMM YOUNG DELEGATES PROGRAM) - closed
Who Can Apply?
Young scientists and engineers must normally be less than 36 years of age in the year of the conference, be in a country of the national or territorial organizations that are IFToMM members, and be engaged on work in the field of Machines and Mechanisms.
Terms and Conditions
1. Applicants are not fully supported by their own institutions.
2. Applicants must register as ASIATRIB2018 participant.
3. The results will be announced at least two months before the conference date.
4. Conference committees are not eligible to apply for this funding.
Prize
The funding subject to a maximum of USD500 per awardee and only cover for transportation, board and lodging.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is 30 April 2018.
How to Apply?
The applicant must fill up the application form and submit to ASIATRIB2018 Chairperson at asiatrib2018@gmail.com and IFToMM Treasurer at Juan.Carretero@unb.ca. The application form must be accompanied by:
1. A curriculum vitae including date of birth.
2. A letter of recommendation from the Dean/Manager confirming that funds are not available from the home institution to support fully the travel.
3. A budget estimate for the total expenses of the participant to attend the conference.
4. A letter of recommendation from the Chair of their local IFToMM national or territorial organisation. List of Chair of Member Organization [click here]
